Ensuring that HR staff and line managers within your organisation fully understand their legal obligations is an essential component of claims avoidance.
Many claims, particularly those involving the most damaging allegations of discrimination, are prompted by the actions of untrained managers in organisations which otherwise have good employment practices.
During the last year we have provided training to HR professionals, owner managers and other senior individuals from almost a hundred private and not for profit sector organisations. The topics of our seminars have included the Equality Act, part time and flexible working, entitlement to work, managing sick leave and additional paternity leave.
In addition to open seminars we have also delivered training at client's premises, the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and to members of the Midtown Business Club and the Federation of Small Businesses.
Our fixed fees for training are calculated on a time rather than per attendee basis, which helps to minimise the costs for you.
Our training sessions are not lectures on the law. We aim to make them interesting, practical and participatory. There are usually lots of questions as well as a few laughs!
