I have specialised in employment law since qualifying as a solicitor in 1994 from a large commercial city of London practice.  I joined Levenes in 1999 to set up a specialist employment practice which in 2009 became Levenes Employment.

I advise on all employment law issues and handle cases in the Employment Tribunal, Employment Appeals Tribunal, the Court of Appeal, and in the civil courts.  

Levenes Employment is dedicated to providing expert legal advice free from any partiality.  By acting for both employers and employees we are able to maintain a balanced perspective and to provide advice which is based on long experience of acting for both sides.       

On the employer side I have particular expertise in representing organisations in complex discrimination, whistle blowing and outsourcing cases, as well as providing advice on all aspects of human resources issues.

For employees I have been particularly successful in bringing complex discrimination claims and advising senior executives on breach of contract claims, the enforceability of restrictive covenants and negotiating exit arrangements.

I am a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and have written articles and provided expert comment on a variety of employment law issues for publication. 

I am a regular speaker on employment law matters and have chaired numerous seminars on the Equality Act, including at the Spanish Chamber of Commerce and Midtown Business Club, as well as client's premises and open seminars which have been attended by organisations from across the private and not for profit sectors.

Levenes Employment has a long tradition of working with employers in the supported housing and care sector and proudly sponsored the Dignity in Care award as part of the Great London Care Awards. I presented the award during the ceremony held at the Emirates Stadium in October 2010 which did much to raise the profile of the fantastic work done in this sector.

I am a firm believer in the importance of work life balance and my two children ensure that I am kept as busy outside the office as I am in it. Whilst something of a late developer on the exercise front, I am now a dedicated runner, and also indulge in yoga when I can. I was a member of the Levenes Employment team which recently completed the Crisis Square Mile relay race, helping to raise funds for the fight against homelessness.
