compromise agreements
In order for compromise agreements to be binding you must obtain independent legal advice on them.
We can charge a fixed fee for advising on compromise agreements, which is usually paid directly by your employer, meaning there is no cost to you.
If you would like us to try to negotiate an increase in the sum offered we may be able to act for you on a 'no win, no fee' basis under a contingency fee agreement. Under such an agreement we will retain 35% inclusive of VAT of any increase we are able to negotiate, as a fee for our services. To find out more about how contingency fee agreements work please see our 'no win, no fee' page.
Alternatively you may choose to pay us on an hourly rate, meaning that you will retain the full amount of any increase we are able to negotiate.
